Green Lantern, Anyone?

Now, I know I've been pretty secretive about my newest comic book projects and I realize that I can't really show you what I'm working on until it is finished, but, in the meantime, if you are in the mood for some cosmic super-heroism, here's a Green Lantern commission that I penciled & inked at the request of a friend of mine. I warn you though: this piece shows why I usually don't ink! Oh well, I had to practice so I used this as an opportunity. The colors are by amazing colorist Ross Hughes (Fallen Justice, Nature God). Enjoy!

A "FREAKSHOW" Preview (Team-Up with Michael Babinski)!

Well, during the San Diego Comic Con (July 2010) I managed to make a few new friends. Among them were Jackson Lanzing & David Server (creators of a new Ape Entertainment comic series and movie called "Freakshow"). Here's a sample of one of my upcoming pin-ups for their 2011 Trade Paperback. If you haven't checked it out then visit their blog at: "Spider-man Family" artist Joe Suitor is the regular artist (he gave me some advice on illustrating these guys). Here, I provided the pencils while DC/Marvel inker Michael Babinski (Wonder Woman, She-Hulks) was nice enough to provide the inks. Hope you enjoy it! It's going to be even better once Stephen Downer graces it with his'll have to pick up the book to see the finished product!

In the Air Force News!

Welcome to the first edition of "Eric Henson's Blogfolio"! Right off the bat I'd like to dive right into the first blessing that I'm happy to share with the world!

I recently was a part of a large feature film that covers comic art and the San Diego Comic-Con 2010 (TBR). I had a blast at the Con while filming and I also got the opportunity to be featured in the Air Force News! Thats right, but there's more. It wasn't just a single story. It was a three part series! The articles can be viewed below!
