HELP Stan & Sharon Sakai!

Two days ago I was contacted by one of my comic-art mentors and friends from Garage Art Studios. By the grace of God he invited me to help out one of our own through the Cartoon Art Professional Society (CAPS). CAPS is planning to host an art auction where all of the proceeds will go to Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai. Stan's wife Sharon is currently battling a debilitating illness that has included a long hospital stay with a long recuperation. Sharon is currently at home, but needs constant medical care and medication that is not covered by their insurance.
Garage Art Studios has invited me to contribute original artwork for the auction. Below is my contribution (in addition to my prayers for them):

Usagi Yojimbo by Eric Henson--Color Brush & Markers on 11x17 Bristol

You are also able to donate to the Sakais directly via PayPal. Please do what you can to donate. I know most of us save money for a "rainy day" and we assume that rainy day will be ours, but I can definitely say that for Stan and Sharon...
...this is a very rainy day.
Let's all come together to bless the Sakais to make it through their battle and please give what is in your heart to give. To donate you can go here:
Stan Sakai, a Japanese-American, has been drawing the Usagi Yojimbocomic series for almost 30 years. Most recently, Sakai has also collaborated with Dark Horse Comics president and founder Mike Richardson and Lone Wolf and Cub creator Kazuo Koike to create the 47 Ronin comic.
Until next time, my friends...
